Furmanite firmly believes in workplace safety and has created national and international programs related to the health, safety and environment. Our goal is to implement and follow safety programs that establish Furmanite as the premier safety-focused organization in the industry.
All Furmanite technicians are trained to employ the latest safety practices and standards and are only certified after years of experience and upon completion of one of the industries’ most stringent, in both duration and curriculum, training programs.
Amongst other accomplishment, Furmanite was proud to achieve the impressive Safety Milestone of 1,000,000 hours worked with no lost-time injuries. Specifically, field technicians, sales, management and support staff lost no time, nor were customer deadlines compromised as a result of on-site injuries for one million hours (or two years).
This milestone is unique for not only the company, but the entire industry as well. Furmanite attributes this exemplary safety record to teamwork – everyone working together to ensure procedural consistency.
